SiSoftware DirectX 11 Compute Shader Support Released: London, UK, 4th January 2010 - SiSoftware releases its suite of DirectX 11 Compute Shader GPGPU benchmarks as part of SiSoftware Sandra 2010.
Compute Shader/DirectCompute is a new programmable shader stage introduced with DirectX 11 that expands Direct3D beyond graphics programming. OpenCL is an open standard for running parallel tasks on GPUs, CPUs and hardware accelerators using the same code - unlike proprietary solutions. SiSoftware Sandra 2010 Released: London, UK, 26th November 2009 - Virtualisation and GPGPU (OpenCL, DirectX 11) Support.
Over the last year, we have seen a huge growth in server consolidation and virtualisation: SiSoftware has responded to this by including support for not just one but five (5) different virtualisation technologies.
Those running Windows 7 and Windows Vista will notice improved graphics and GPGPU support, including DirectX 11 Compute Shader/DirectCompute, OpenCL (GPU and CPU), as well as OpenGL graphics.
